Here are the basics of Niche Marketing

1. Look for niche that has emotional draw if possible. What are people emotionally connected to?
2. Look for a niche where there is already competition and products that people are spending money for.
3. Analyze your competition using free tools (i.e. Google Adwords External Keyword Tool, SpyFu, SEM Rush, SEO Quake, PPC Spy)
4. See what keywords your competition is ranking for and spending money on
5. Jack their keywords
6. Pick low hanging fruit. Choose long-tail keyword phrases
7. Write articles using buying keywords
8. Use ClickBank or PayDotCom to choose products to sell in your niche
9. Choose 3-5 products and set up your marketing campaign.

Really, you can easily make the products yourself — without spending a nickel.

Chris’ first products were all made by him alone, on his laptop. And that’s when he still had a full-time job and 3 kids running around the house.

See, most of the products you’ll be selling are digital downloads… ebooks, audio files, videos… and all of those can be produced for free right on your computer.

People are producing entire films using the applications that come standard on some computers these days… so making a small screen capture video or editing an audio file is no sweat at all.

And as you’ll soon see, it’s information people really want–not a shiny package.

“Fine. So it isn’t risky… or hard… or expensive… but you’ll never convince me that it isn’t…

As I mentioned, recording an interview with an expert, making screen capture videos, or writing a small ebook on a subject you delight in can easily be done in your spare time.

But, if you have no interest in technology – or just want it done super quick, you can get hundreds of quality freelancers outbidding each other for the chance to make your product.

All you do is post your job, look for someone with excellent work samples and take the lowest bidder. Poof!… Instant product.

Choosing A Niche…

All successful niche marketing starts with research. Your goal is to choose a profitable niche. How?

1. Competition. Look for a niche with competition. Where you find competition, there is profit potential. Analyze your competition using free online tools ( i.e. Google’s Adwords Keyword Tool, SpyFu, SEM Rush, SEO Quake, blogspot.com/">PPC Web Spy, Secret Page Spy)
2. Keyword. Look for 3-4 keyword strings that have a minimum of 300-400 searches per month. Browse Google to see how many competitors are running Adwords campaigns. (minimum 6) See what keywords your competition is ranking for nd spending money for…
3. Emotional Connection. Are people emotionally connected to this niche market (i.e. pets, golf, Jimmy Choo handbags, etc.)

• Remember, people buy on emotion and justify with facts!

Now what?

See what keywords your competition is ranking for and  spending money for with PPC. Jack their keywords, pick low-hanging fruit (i.e. long-tail keywords)

Write articles 4-8 using buying keywords ( how to, simple ways to, X ways to, review of, bonus, etc.)

Use Clickbank, Paydotcom for example to find products to monetize your niche.

Choose 3-5 products paying attention to keywords.

Test, rinse and repeat.
